CTG Brasil has formulated a social investment plan, which was launched in 2024. The plan aims to assist the Picuí (PB) region in Brazil in overcoming the major socioeconomic obstacles that have been identified.
The "Business Plant" project is one of the implemented social investment projects of CTG Brasil. It is designed to help rural farming families that face food insecurity for their livestock during drought periods, enabling them to achieve social and economic enhancement. The project includes the formulation of a business plan and the implementation of local social investment, with a focus on goat farming and family agriculture.
the Associa??o Serra dos Brand?es was the first to benefit from the project, receiving five essential pieces of equipment for agricultural production:
2 bush and branch choppers (shredders)
2 forage harvesters (vegetable shredders) with trailers for tractor attachment
1 mini tractor with a hydraulic loader
These mechanical devices are provided to the local communities that are directly or indirectly affected by the Serra da Palmeira Complex. They will boost and ensure the food production for livestock during the dry seasons. In addition to increasing productivity and creating better conditions for farmers, this initiative also strengthens the local commerce and production sectors, promotes the development of the agricultural industry chain, and stimulates the growth of the regional economy.
